Personal Philosophy

Astrology is based on a sound monotheistic philosophy and is aligned with classical moral teachings; it is impossible not to question the very core of who you are and your personal belief system, once you begin your studies.

You can never graduate in this field: as one layer is learnt, the next unfolds. In the words of William Lilly, “You will always remain a student of astrology”. This study takes courage, sacrifice and humility and should have a profound effect, not only on the astrologer, but also on the people assisted by her.

Although everything that exists can be located in the chart, I only tell you what you wish to know; this information is imparted in an empathetic and non judgemental manner. We have all been successful at landing ourselves in a quagmire of trouble and misery at sometime during the course of our lives - my job is to be entirely objective and truthful to enable you to emerge from that.

The more specific you can be with regards to your needs, the more accurate I can be in the application of my craft; I do not impart vague niceties which leave you feeling good, yet still unable to see the wood for the trees.

Diplomas

• Natal astrology diploma from the Thorburn School of Astrology in South Africa, awarded with distinction.
• The Astrologers Apprentice: qualified as a Horary Craftsman under the tuition of John Frawley.
• Craftsman Astrologer: qualified in traditional natal and election astrology under the tuition of John Frawley.
• Diplomas in various holistic health modalities and the realm of physical fitness. 
  

International Accreditation

• Registered as a practicing member and tutor of the Society of Astrologers, an international body of leading practicing astrologers of the Tradition.

Publications

• Published author of astrological articles in both astrological journals and contemporary publications, locally and internationally.
• Regular contributor of medical astrology articles to the publication, the South African Journal of Natural Medicine, and serves on their Panel of Experts.

South African Bodies

• Founding director of AORTA: Astrologers of the Real Tradition of Astrology. An educational platform for the public and astrologers: workshops, conferences, articles and newsletters.
