A horary chart is set for the time the astrologer accepts (and understands) the question and it is set at the location of the astrologer. The chart details are as follows: 2011/03/05 G The mother is the querent (the person posing the question) and the daughter is Lord Five as her child which in this chart is Saturn. There are 2 ways of approaching this chart: Method One: we can use the "is the information/story the daughter is providing true?"Using the criteria for that method it is not as none of the neccessary significators are in fixed signs. Method Two: based on what the chart is providing we don’t need a significator for alcohol or drugs per se. If we have a look at the strength of the quesited’ s (the daughtre who is the subject of the enquiry) Lord One, as opposed to the weakness of turned Lord Seven (enemies/another person who would spike her drink) there is no way that she was never in control of her actions or of what went down her throat. The daughter Saturn is exalted and in an angular house with tremedous power to act and "others" are in a much weaker position than she is. Lord Six (her throat and what went into it) and Lord Twelve (her self-undoing) are all this powerful Saturn – she was in full control of what she was doing at all times. Saturn by antiscion is combust and Saturn is retrograde so she is behaving against her nature and is doing something covert; Saturn is posited on the Fixed Star Seginus which denotes shamelessness; Saturn by antiscion is on the Fixed Star Achernar – the mouth of the river – symbolising pouring out/in; Venus as the natural ruler of pleasure is in the 5th house and there is positive Mutual Reception between Saturn and Venus – so pleasure was at the top of her agenda. My verdict was that the story was false and that her drink had not been spiked; she had been in control of her actions at all times. Her mother took her to the hospital to be tested and her alcohol blood level was found to be just short of toxic; there were no drugs in her system. The daughter eventually admitted to her transgression. |

A client’s teenage daughter arrived home from a night out on the town seriously worse for wear. This was the first time it had occurred and when told that her drink had been spiked (drugs are dissolved into the drink to reduce inhibitions and often used for date-rape), her mother believed her as this had never happened before. However, she had always warned her daughter that should she ever arrive home intoxicated she would have her medically tested for intoxicants and drugs. The mother wanted to know if it was neccessary to subject her daughter to this, hence the horary question to me.
