Astrology is the study of the movement of the celestial bodies and their
correlation with all life forms on earth; it is the oldest of the
occult sciences (involving the supernatural) and is the study of time
itself. Time, to a traditional astrologer, is vastly different to
others' perception. Man is removed from natural time, we view the cycles
of nature and the cosmos as an irritation, yet whether we like it or
not, natural time exists and is, in essence, far more significant than
man-made chronological time. An understanding of natural time, even a
rudimentary one, can go a long way in helping to improve relationships.
The range of services offered by an astrologer of the Tradition is
extensive; almost any aspect of life can be assessed and it is therefore
impossible to list every option available: suffice it to say that an
astrologer can assist with all relationships. "The person who tries to live alone will not succeed as a human being. His heart withers if it does not answer another heart. His mind shrinks away if he hears only the echoes of his own thoughts and finds no other inspiration.” - Pearl S. Buck.

The Essence of a Woman’s Love: insight for the discerning man |

A regular comment made by men, especially when at the 13th (14th or 15th) ‘watering’ hole, is that they do not understand women; when women hear this they shake their heads in despair and frustration, wondering what it is about them that is so unfathomable. At the outset it is necessary to stress that both genders discussed in this article are assumed to be of sound mind, possessing a relatively high level of EQ: we are not addressing the (majority) of the population that is neurotic, addicted to something-or-other, co-dependant, emotionally unstable, commitment phobic or simply foolish. If you have a sincere desire to understand the female species and wish to enrich your romantic relationships you should find this insight beneficial; but be warned: action is called for.

A Tribute to Chiron |

I love cats because I enjoy my home; and little by little, they become its visible soul. - Jean Cocteau
Chiron entered my life in October 2006, approximately 6 weeks old and a
hissing, spitting, feral bundle of fur. I was still involved in the
sporting industry at that stage and was working at the 94.7 Cycling
Expo; my sister and her Yorkshire Terrier had stumbled on a feral mother
and her litter of kittens in a drain at their complex during one of
their walks. After 2 hours of pleading, coaxing and waving Woolworths
chicken fillets around, they managed to tempt only one of the kittens
into the open.

Even the most rudimentary understanding of astrological time is beneficial: all types of relationships can be enhanced, on a daily basis, by aligning oneself with natural time; and for the deep-seated relationship problems, the traditional astrologer is able, through a variety of methodologies, to assist.

Can Astrology Determine the Potential for Adoption? Exploratory Research. |

It is possible, with the tool of hindsight, to assess this grey area of adoption and to heed pre birth indicators, keeping it simple, and applying astrological skill and common sense. Surrendering a baby for adoption is not a frivolous decision. It is normally one which is taken soon into the gestation period and after much pre meditated thought; with this in mind I believe that the propensity for the native to be adopted at birth has to be located somewhere in the charts. |

How Loveable are You? |

I was chatting with a friend who is also an astrologer and we came to the conclusion, based on our experience in this field, that what all of us really want to know is when will we meet someone who will love us just the way we are, and when we do, will they stick around once they discover our faults? That same day I received an email written by someone who runs a dating agency, and they mentioned how so many people who attend these arranged singles evenings spend the entire night complaining about how poor the quality of people is they are meant to meet and fall in love with.

The Male and Female Principles |
|
|
|
Written by Jacqueline Brook

I was woken
telephonically around midnight by a neighbour who was standing at the
entrance to our complex together with security guards, policemen and
another resident of our complex who we have been trying to have evicted
for months. She had blood streaming down her face and I thought I had
stepped onto a movie set. What I could piece together is that she and
this male resident arrived home at the same time, had words and then he
walked up to her vehicle and punched her in the face. It is likely that
an excessive intake of alcohol was involved on one or both sides and
the situation I was confronted with was surreal, although the ugliness
of it invaded the dream-like quality. She was finally taken to the
hospital in an ambulance and it transpires she has a broken nose and
received at least four blows to the head from this man. |
