Event charts were assessed for the remaining fixtures of the 2011 Six Nations rugby tournament. Event charts, although at the bottom of the astrological food chain, are not always straight forward; some present challenges which require subtlety of judgement and experience in order to reach a definitive conclusion. Event charts are used in sports' questions instead of horary charts when the querent has no specific favourite, the matches are not major league events or if there are multiple games being played within a tournament at different times (not at the same time); they are also used for a host of other events such as court cases/trials and to determine the outcome of major meetings such as when cabinet meets to decide the demise of the repo rate. The main criterion with event charts is that the bookie’s favourite is used for Lord 1, the ruler of the 1st house. The bookie’s favourite can change closer to the day of the game depending on the results of previous games played: the predictions presented here are being made well in advance. What you can do is check the bookie’s odds on the day at http://rugby.betting-directory.com/ and insert the bookies updated favourite as L1: the judgement will not change; if the prediction is that the favourite will lose, whoever is the most recent favourite for that match should lose. For some of the matches where the chart is finely balanced Persephone may, should she be so inclined, experiment with additional technical methodologies to find more conclusive evidence; I suggest that if you have a vested interest in the outcome you check this article on the day of the match. Astrolgy students can purchase the Event Chart's Workshop for additional insight into this methodology. Taking the bookie’s current favourites as Lord 1, with Lord 7 as the underdog, the results for the remaining 2011 Six Nations rugby fixtures are as follows (times for the events are in GMT) and only the major testimonies are listed: Saturday 26th Feb 14:30 Italy v Wales, Stadio Flaminio, RomeLord 10 the public accolades of Lord 1 on the 4th, the house of public accolades of Lord 7, by antiscion: the favourites win as it has power over the success of the underdog; the favourite is currently Wales. Wales won 24-16. Saturday 26th Feb 17:00 England v France, Twickenham, LondonThis is the big match of the weekend, with England not only tipped as the favourites for this game, but as champions of the tournament. Mercury Lord 1 is combust, the worst place of affliction for any planet (combustion must not exceed 2 degrees for event charts); Mars the public accolades of Lord 7 is posited in the 7th so the success of the underdogs is in their own home; the antiscion of Fortuna which is given to the favourites is in opposition to malefic Pluto: the underdogs win; this is currently France. England won 17-9. This chart has been reassessed and initially no astrological reason could be found as to why the underdogs didn't win; however, as always when an incorrect judgement is attained, the reason has to be there and must be located; these 'incorrect' charts provide an invaluable learning curve. The final verdict is as follows based on common sense: the Moon can be applied to the Nodal axis in the same way as Fortuna, as Fortuna is the Lunar Part. In this chart the Moon is conjunct the North Node by antiscion. Fortuna on the North Node helps the favourite, so the Moon on the North Node must help the favourite; as the Moon's aspects are final this would outweigh L1 combust. Sunday 27th Feb 15:00 Scotland v Ireland, Murrayfield, EdinburghLord 7 is posited in the 4th, its own house of public accolades and the Moon's last aspect, traversing over her 6 degree range, is to square Saturn Lord 7: the underdogs win which is currently Scotland. The underdogs on the day were Ireland. Ireland won 21-18. Saturday 12th March 14:30 Italy v France, Stadio Flaminio, RomeThe Moon squares the Sun Lord 1 along her path of travel: the favourites win which is currently France. Italy were the favourites on the day: they beat France 22-21. Most of the following charts are more finely balanced, possibly depicting the reality of the situation: as the tournament nears its end the teams are far more aggressive and hungry to win. Saturday 12th March 17:00 Wales v Ireland, Millennium Stadium, CardiffThis is a very finely balanced chart and the game may result in a draw. However, there is some testimony to warrant overriding caution and to predict that the favourites win; the favourite is currently Ireland. Saturn the great malefic is applying to oppose Jupiter Lord 7 within a 5 degree range; the antiscion of Jupiter Lord 7 is posited in the 1st house that of the favourite and the Moon's last aspect, over a range of travel of 6 degrees, will square Mercury the favourite. Wales were the favourites on the day: they beat Ireland 19-13. Sunday 13th March 15:00 England v Scotland, Twickenham, LondonAgain, a finely balanced chart with the only testimony for a win being that the Moon will square the antiscion of the Sun Lord 1 over a somewhat extended range of 7 degrees. The result will be either a draw or that the favourites win which is currently England. England remained the favourites on the day: they beat Scotland 22-16. Saturday 19th March 14:30 Scotland v Italy, Murrayfield, EdinburghThe favourites win: Lord 10 Venus, the success of the favourites Scotland, is posited on the 7th, controlling it; the Moon's last aspect over her range of travel is to oppose the Sun Lord 1. Scotland remained the favourite beating Italy 21-8. Saturday 19th March 17:00 Ireland v England, Aviva Stadium, DublinFinely balanced again: the antiscion of Lord 7 Jupiter is in the 1st house which is positive for the favourite; Mercury Lord 1 applying to oppose the antiscion of Fortuna favours the underdogs; malefic Saturn and Jupiter Lord 7 are in an applying opposition which is positive for the favourite: the underdogs win, which is currently Ireland. England remained the favourite and Ireland beat England 24-8. Saturday 19th March 19:45 France v Wales, Stade de France, ParisUnderdogs win in this finely balanced chart as Saturn Lord 4, the success of the underdogs Wales is on the Ascendant (but this is minimised as he is retrograde thus moving away); Moon as Lord 10 the success of the favourites (there is hardly any range of travel with no applying aspects so she is not used here as flow of events) is in opposition to Uranus, a negative for the favourites; malefic Saturn afflicts Mars Lord 7 by antiscion which is negative for the underdogs. On the day Wales was the favourite: France beat Wales 28-9. |
