"When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'." Erma Bombeck |

Will South Africa win the 2011 Cricket World Cup? "The 2011 Cricket World Cup fixtures have been divided into 2 groups, Group A and Group B; each group consists of 8 teams and each team will be playing with all the teams in the same group and will qualify for quarters. Cricket World Cup 2011 fixtures are hosted by India, Bangladesh and Sri-Lanka and finals will be hosted by India in Mumbai. The 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup will be the tenth Cricket World Cup and it will be Bangladesh's first time co-hosting a Cricket World Cup. The World Cup will use cricket's One Day International format, with fourteen national cricket teams scheduled to compete. The World Cup will take place between February and early April 2011, with the first match to be played on 19 February 2011 with co-hosts India and Bangladesh facing off at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka, with the final on 2 April 2011 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai." View teams at http://www.cricketworldcup2011.co.in/world-cup-cricket-2011-team.htm The horary chart details are as follows: 2011/02/15 G My favourite even though I am not fond of cricket is South Africa, Mars, posited in the 11th house in Aquarius, peregrine and in a separating combustion. The fixed stars on which he is posited are bad for gain and bring danger from enemies. Jupiter, the great benefic in term, is close to the Ascendant and in the sign of Mars thus aiding him. Lord 7 Venus is the open enemy of Mars, thus the other teams. Venus is posited in the 10th, in triplicity in Capricorn and in opposition to a dignified Moon and square an exalted Saturn which adores her, and although far from the Descendant, is in the 7th house. In contest horaries, combustion and house placement are key, and all things being equal, should determine who wins. Venus has far more accidental dignity than Mars, but we can see the other teams are intimidated by South Africa and believe we may win as Venus exalts Mars. The Moon does not have her usual role of co-significator of the querent in contest horaries, but occasionally as the flow of events. A 1.30 degree separation from Venus (in the past yes, but recent enough to factor in) and in an applying square to Saturn Lord 10, the public accolade, the Moon translates the light from Venus to Saturn, taking the public accolade to Lord 7. Venus is bodily applying to square Saturn as well which strengthens this testimony. South Africa will not win the 2011 Cricket World Cup. |
