Understanding Planetary Archetypes |

“Myth, says a Church Father, is what is believed always, everywhere, by everybody; hence the man, who thinks he can live without myth, or outside it, is an exception. He is like one uprooted, having no true link either with the past, or with the ancestral life which continues within him, or yet with contemporary society. He does not live in a house like other men, does not eat and drink like other men, but lives a life of his own, sunk in a subjective mania of his own devising, which he believes to be newly discovered truth. This plaything of his reason never grips his vitals. It may occasionally lie heavy on his stomach, for that organ is not apt to reject the products of reason as indigestible. The psyche is not of today; its ancestry goes back many millions of years. Individual consciousness is only the flower and fruit of a season, sprung from the perennial rhizome beneath the earth; and would find itself in better accord with the truth if it took the existence of the rhizome into its calculations. For the root matter is the mother of all things.” - Carl Jung, September 1950

Gem Stone Water Blend |
|

Healing gem stones and crystals do not have the same properties when blended in water as they do when used externally or worn in contact with the skin; it is for this reason that gem water should only be ingested when blended by a professional practitioner. Gem Stone Water Blend is therefore a healing aid, similar to Bach Flower Remedies and homeopathic preparations: once ingested the effect needs to run its course, unlike wearing a stone which can be removed immediately if there is an adverse reaction. Extreme hygienic conditions are necessary in the preparation process and only certain apparatus can be used. The standard available blends are: rejuvenating blend, balance blend, purification blend, sensuality blend and the five-element blend which is also used as a diagnostic tool; prescription blends are formulated on request and may be prescribed during the medical astrology consultation.

What You Need to Know when Contacting an Astrologer |

Astrology is not governed by any governmental or legislative body. While this produces benefits for both the astrologer and the client, it does create an area of concern by making it difficult for people to (know how to) select an astrologer; this provides an opportunity for those who should not be involved in the craft to profit from the public's ignorance.
The basis for selecting an astrologer however, is the same as for selecting any practitioner and the same criteria and level of discernment should be applied. At the outset it is important to enquire after the discipline of astrology practiced; the area of astrology is vast and there are numerous options available to the public. It is at this initial stage of selection that common sense should prevail. |

I am a passionate, dedicated and qualified professional astrologer, using an ancient craft to assist you in making better life choices. I am not psychic, I don't have the ability to make things happen on your behalf and I do not cast spells (even though I receive this request regularly). This site offers insight into the history of astrology and addresses the numerous astrological misconceptions that abound; I also provide information on the multitude of traditional methodologies and services available. I endeavour to educate, not only through the tuition I offer, but from all angles, highlighting what astrology is and isn't. Informative technical articles are available for astrologers and numerous non-technical articles, categorised for easy reference, are available to the public. |
