Food for Thought

A normal healthy person takes 18 breaths per minute; 1080 breaths per hour; 25920 breaths per day. The vernal point takes 25920 years to go around the zodiac. One day’s breaths reflect the number of solar years in a cosmic year.

Horary Astrology Consulatations

What is Horary Astrology?

Astrology is multi-faceted and comprises of numerous layers, all serving to make the study (and application) of this craft inexhaustible and fascinating. Horary is the art of drawing specific answers to specific questions from an astrological chart set for the time the question is asked. It is used extensively for missing people/items, investments/partnerships, purchasing/selling of property, medical questions, recruitment of staff, relationship questions and many other topics.

This does not mean the astrologer will always be right. Although the craft is infallible, the astrologer is not; however the efficacy of the craft, applied with discretion and skill, ensures that in modern times, just as in the days of olde, answers to pressing questions, which the natal chart and modern branches of astrology cannot provide, can be derived.

In ancient times, man was more interested in the practical side of life and was less enthusiastic about delving into the psyche; it is quite appropriate to deduce that ancient man was, in many ways, less self-absorbed than his modern brothers.

Horary astrology was the mainstream astrological discipline, its efficacy having been proven over thousands of years.
It is at this stage that we must never forget that we have free will, and that astrology cannot make us do anything; how the information gleaned from the chart is used, is up to the individual.

How will Horary Astrology benefit you?

  1. It is quick, simple and effective, providing concrete, verifiable answers – this enables you to act, quickly!
  2. In traditional astrology there are set methodologies and set parameters in which the astrologer applies his skill – the delineation is filed for reference and can be referred to at any stage.
  3. It is not only the speed and economy of effort that makes horary the mainstay of traditional practice, for most enquiries it is the most appropriate tool; the ancient art of horary can most certainly make a difference in a modern world – life is stressful enough, using horary eliminates the guess work.
  4. It is important to state that whether the client believes in astrology, or specifically in horary astrologer, or not, has no impact on the derived answers; the astrologer is able to provide those answers independent of the client’s belief system – immaterial of your belief system, horary can assist you.
  5. It is not necessary to meet with the astrologer; the usual mode of communication for horary consultations is via email – again saving you time.
  6. Horary is extremely specific and accurate and can be applied to any and all facets of life; everything that exists on earth is to be found in the chart – no question is deemed unworthy of judgement.
  7. Horary provides answers to specific questions which cannot be gleaned from the natal chart – if you do not have your time of birth horary can assist.
  8. Horary is an invaluable tool used to make important decisions as the chart indicates the best course of action, immaterial of how complicated the situation – horary can unravel the complicated threads of your life, providing clarity and insight.
  9. In today’s society there is an ‘expert’ available for you to consult for every medical condition, addiction and psychological malaise; the horary astrologer is the ‘expert’ to consult when life either makes no sense and you are unable to see the wood for the tress, or when you reach the crossroads - far better to know the pitfalls and propensities that lie ahead so that the correct course of action can be chosen.

What is Required?

  1. At the right moment, the client contacts the astrologer; very often he has been pondering his dilemma for a long time and it is not coincidence that he contacts the astrologer on the day he chooses to do so.
  2. Multiple questions may be asked of one chart (so for one fee) provided the area of investigation is similar; e.g. you may ask more than one question pertaining to your business or your career, but you may not add an intimate relationship question or a question about your missing dog - unless these apply to the primary area of investigation.
  3. Should too many questions be posed at once, an additional fee may apply.
  4. The astrologer ensures that the questions are fully understood, requesting background information if necessary; the horary chart is then set and work commences.
  5. You do not meet with the astrologer; the usual mode of communication with regards to horary consultations is via email.
  6. No personal birth details are required; the ideal methodology for those who do not have a birth time.
  7. In my practice I do not accept third party questions as this borders on voyeurism, an example being, ‘is my best friend having an affair’; if the matter in question has no immediate bearing on the client’s life, it is a third party question.
  8. The fee for a horary delineation commences at ZAR650 and USD120.
