Horary or natal charts are assessed depending on the situation. Horary is employed if there is an existing condition and the cause and prognosis of the illness must be determined; a sound and unique treatment plan is derived from the horary chart. Natal charts are assessed to implement wellness and weight loss programmes and preventative measures for illness.  Based on the temperament of the person and their areas of physical strengths/weaknesses, a lifestyle programme is formulated using planetary signatures and complementary therapies.

The field of medical astrology is vast, its rewards profound: medical astrology has been used for centuries to enhance the condition of the human body, mind and spirit; most traditional doctors were well versed in this ancient celestial science including Hippocrates, the father of medicine. The application of this methodology, when applied correctly, has far-reaching consequences in the life of the individual, immaterial of whether it is utilised for existing conditions or for general well-being.

It is important to note that I am not a medical doctor, although I am a qualified holistic health practitioner - I am an astrologer. My tools are astrological and incorporate the planetary signatures of the herbs, gem stones and other complementary therapies that I recommend; they are not allopathic treatments. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that any lifestyle changes I prescribe, many of which are listed below, are not detrimental to existing medical programmes by consulting their medical practitioner.

Medical astrology is to be used as a complementary therapy to any existing medical programmes and as a preventative to illness. If necessary I will refer the client to a medical practitioner but this is rarely required: medical astrology is used in tandem with existing programmes, it is not meant to replace them if the person is chronically ill.

Natal Chart Assessments: addressing wellness/lifestyle issues

1. Natal charts are used as a means of determining and then implementing preventative measures and lifestyle changes for that individual. 
2. The temperament of the person is vital to the medical assessment; this can only be gleaned from the nativity.
3. The chart provides a true holistic modality as it displays the person on all levels: body, mind and spirit.
4. The imbalances in the temperament, thus the body as a holistic entity, can be balanced; homeostasis can be achieved and maintained on all levels.
5. The correct prescriptions are provided to maintain balance and to optimise the areas of strength, while boosting the weak factors and protecting sensitive points depicted by the chart.
6. All the systems in the body are considered, including but not limited to: immune, nervous, cardiovascular, digestive, respiratory and urinary as well as the emotional and spiritual natures of the individual.
7. Every natal chart, thus the person, has a medical "fault line". By adopting the correct lifestyle this area can be protected, thereby minimising the risk of experiencing major disease later on in life.
8. The natal chart can assist effectively with weight loss as it addresses the cause of over eating.
9. It is for this reason that the natal medical assessment is so beneficial for children: it ensures that preventive measures are in place from an early age.
10. Birth data is required: city, date and time of birth.
11. Consultations are conducted in person or via audio/email/Skype.
12. The duration of direct consultations is approximately 2 hours.
13. All that is required is that the person has a sincere desire to change their unhealthy/unbalanced lifestyle.
14. The fee for a natal medical assessment is ZAR1600; USD280.
15. Prescribed products are for the client's account.

Wellness Maintenance Programme

After the initial medical astrology assessment, in order to facilitate the efficacy of the wellness programme and healing, regular body work and gem stone therapy sessions are recommended. The frequency is determined by the client: a minimum of bi-monthly sessions is recommended.

Medical astrology uses interventions derived from the birth chart itself – so in essence it is you (your soul) which has decided what you need on all levels: body, mind and spirit. The programme comprises of body work which is based on Polarity Therapy and this is approached from an astrological angle. Organs in the body which are compromised are strengthened, as is the spirit (self-worth being a by-product of this), the emotions and the mind and you receive a unique programme to follow; what I prescribe depends on what is required on all levels; it is unique to you – just as your natal chart is unique to you.

It is important to note that no one can heal you: a practitioner can only facilitate healing, the results being determined by your commitment and adherence to the programme.

1. The cost is ZAR300 per 30 minute treatment and is only available to clients who reside locally.
2. All therapies used during the 30 minute treatment are included in the fee.
3. The primary body work facilitation is based on Polarity Therapy by Dr Randolph Stone, which facilitates healing.  

Weight Loss Programmes

1. The birth chart displays the potential for weight gain and the reasons why.
2. Using the assessment of temperament correctly together with other factors depicted by the sensitive points in the chart, the correct programme can be formulated.
3. Weight loss is not a secret - adopting the right attitude (for you, located in the birth chart) and applying the correct methodologies determined by the birth chart, yields results: the person must be treated holistically for weight loss to be effective and permanent.  
4. Polarity Therapy treatments, combined with Gem Stone Therapy, are highly effective in managing a weight loss programme holistically.
5. The cost is ZAR1600 for the initial assessment and ZAR300 for the 30 minute Maintenance Programme. 
   

Horary Chart Assessments: addressing a specific illness

1. Used for existing or suspected conditions; the questions asked of the astrologer have to be specific. An example of a relevant question posed by the client is "I feel unwell. Am I ill and what is causing this?"
2. The astrologer is able to assess the symptoms and the cause, provide an astrological diagnosis and prognosis and prescribe the most efficacious mode of treatment for the condition.
3. An example of the variety of treatments can be viewed under natal medical assessments.
4. Horary is also used to assess whether or not existing treatment is beneficial or harmful, when to undergo an operation, assist with fertility issues and to assess whether or not the medical practitioner treating the patient is the right one to do so or if a second opinion should be sought.   
5. The fee for a horary chart commences at ZAR650; USD120; this is to assess the specific questions posed.
6. Should the comprehensive, prescriptive, nutrition and lifestyle treatment gleaned from the chart be required, an additional ZAR650, USD120, is applicable.
7. No birth data is required, the client provides the background to the question and the question itself via mail or telephonically.
8. Consultations are conducted via email/Skype/audio.
